  1.                       Showing Gif Files For Dos Users

  3.         1. make a directory on your harddisk (for example c:\gview)
  4.         2. go to the cd-rom drive and cd to: sware
  5.         3. copy the programs:
  6.            vpic.exe
  7.            vvpic.exe
  8.            univesa.exe 
  9.            to c:\gview
  10.         4. set a search-path to c:\gview
  11.         5. run univesa
  12.         6. change to your cd-rom drive and a gifdir
  13.         7. run vpic
  14.         8. change res with F7 to auto
  15.         9. press enter to view the first file
  16.                 
  17.            if vpic is not showing a picture than your vga-card
  18.            is not vesa-compatible.
  19.            
  20.            To get around this problem:
  21.            
  22.            reset your pc and change dir to gview
  23.            do not load univesa!              
  24.            del vpic.exe
  25.            run vvpic (this is an self extracting file)
  26.            run config and tell it what kind of vga-card is in your system.
